Playbook Review Required

The full review loop when your Hub approves an opt-in before it goes live, and who acts at each step.

Some playbooks need your Hub to approve the opt-in before it can run. This is a deployment gate for the entire opt-in, not just a media check: it can be used with Hub-provided media, workspace uploads, or an existing post, and it can require a manual pre-launch task such as publishing an offer landing page.

Submit the opt-in

Workspace Member. Complete and submit your opt-in. It goes to your Hub for review.

Awaiting Review

Workspace Member. The status shows Awaiting Review and confirms that your opt-in is being reviewed. Your Hub's reviewers get an email that an opt-in is waiting.

Your Hub reviews it

Hub Admin. Select Review Playbook in the email, or open Hub Opt-Ins, then filter submissions by Awaiting Review. Open the opt-in, review the complete submission, and either Approve it or Request Changes.

If changes are requested

Workspace Member. The status shows Changes Requested. Read the reviewer's feedback (it is in the email and on the opt-in), update your submission, and resubmit. It goes back to Awaiting Review.

Approved and launching

Once approved, the opt-in moves to Scheduled or Deploying, then Running once it is live.

Review Notifications

Flamel emails the Hub’s configured playbook-review recipients. A Hub admin can add a backup reviewer on Hub Opt-Ins or Notification Settings in the notifications bell. If no recipients are configured, all Hub admins receive the request. An individual playbook can add recipients, but cannot remove the Hub-level recipients.

If an action stays open, Flamel sends reminders on days 1, 3, 5, and 7: to Hub reviewers while Awaiting Review, and to the workspace while Changes Requested. See Review Email Reminders for the complete recipient and reminder rules.

When review is skipped

Review happens only when the Hub enables Yes, Hub Approval Process for the playbook. Depending on the Hub's settings, an opt-in can deploy without waiting, for example when default media is allowed to bypass review or when a re-run reuses media that was already approved.

Editing, Resubmitting, and Amending

  • Before approval: the opt-in can be edited while it is Awaiting Review.
  • After changes are requested: update your submission and resubmit to send it back for review.
  • After it is live: changes are applied to the running campaign automatically, with no new approval.
